I’m Cynthia and I have had the privilege of being a homemaker and stay-at-home mom since 1996, for which I am beyond grateful. And, to reiterate some personal achievements that I am also proud of and grateful for over the years, include writing three children’s stories. I self-published the first story I wrote, The Crazy Untamable, Tamable Tongue in 2012, sometime after receiving some positive and encouraging reviews from The Writers Edge in Wheaton, Illinois and then enrolled at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California, to further my education. After that I revisited, rewrote, and did some quick illustrations for The Crazy Untamable, Tamable Tongue, self-publishing, once again, in 2022. I am most pleased with the story’s unique style and cutting-edge format, being that it can be read with either chapter first, not to mention it is fun to read! I also received some honest reviews for that version from Blue Ink, Clarion, and Kirkus, three professional book review companies. While taking art classes at Saddleback College, I created some very simplistic charcoal drawings, from sketches I had done previously, and had some of them displayed on Las Laguna Art Galleries online exhibition (also found under "Art" on this website): Holy Reverence or just Reverence (The Second Half 7/1/21), Illness and Recovery (Abstract Art, 9/7/2023), Healing (Women in Art, 4/6/2023) and Head Rest/Self-Portrait (Laguna Beach Open, 7/6/23), as well as an iPhone snapshot entitled, Beautiful Late Summer Afternoon at the Beach (Flashpoint, 11/2/23). The photograph was taken summer 2023, not long after they were predicting a hurricane to come through Southern California. I am most proud of the volume of each of the drawings within their simplistic nature. In 2022, I hopped on board with social media, somewhat to my own begrudging, creating this Blog, innovativemotivation.org, which has served as a platform for an artistic, cutting-edge, form of communication, entertainment, and inspiration that I like to refer to as “homilies”. Overall, I believe the composition of each, the book, drawings, photograph and "homilies" was clinched, however, perhaps lacking somewhat in technique and finesse. Finally, in 2022, I received my AA degree in Liberal Studies and, in 2023 an additional degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, graduating Magna Cum Laude. I aspire to be a capable, self-assured, and respected team player and friend. I think it is the desire of an artist to be different, to do different, and/or to succeed differently. The goal is to be loved and understood. Careerwise, I think I have aspired to have my ideas, thoughts, understandings/misunderstandings about the church shared, discussed, and implemented, one way or another according to the big-picture plan. For now, I will continue to improve upon my homemaking duties, managing, organizing, creating, and planning, as well as taking a class from time to time, as I consider furthering my education and dream about my own company. I will also continue Blogging from time to time, at least for the remaining year.
